Rewarding Positive Impact in our Communities

The Conway Foundation launched Clap Kindness in an effort to reinforce the positive benefit of doing GOOD in this world.  We believe that our positive impact on society measures success, not just how many followers we have or how much money we make.   We think people making a positive impact should be rewarded for what they are doing in their community. All of this is in an effort to promote positive change in our world.

TINY TEAM WITH BIG HEARTS

As a young couple living in Austin, my wife Jen and I  love exploring all that our city has to offer. We are active and enjoy spending time outdoors playing pickleball, taking walks with our beloved dog Bucatini, or traveling to new places. In addition to being active, we also believe in the importance of kindness. That's why we started the Clap Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to celebrate and recognize acts of kindness in our community.

Through the Clap Foundation, we hope to encourage kindness and spread positivity throughout our home city and beyond. Whether we're cheering someone on at a pickleball game or helping out a family in need, we believe that kindness is in everyone, contagious and we can never have enough of it in this world.  And so, whether you're viewing our website for the first time or coming back for another visit, we encourage you to show a random of kindness and recognize and reward it when you see it in our community.

OUR INSPIRATION

When we embarked on our 3-month journey across the US in 2020, we had no idea what we would find along the way outside some glorious national parks. We also knew we wanted to spread a message of positivity by rewarding random acts of kindness we encountered all while learning more about the people who made up our great country. As we traveled from state to state, it became abundantly clear how politically divided we are in America.

However, as we observed these differences through a compassionate lens, we realized something important: regardless of where you stood politically, deep down, nearly all Americans share the same desire for kindness and goodness in their lives.  We found that these positive interactions had a lasting impact on both us and those we came across, demonstrating that kindness truly knows no borders or political agenda. So please Clap the kindness that you encounter day and let's make Austin and this world a kinder place together!

Providing Opportunities to Spread Kindness

Kindness has universal appeal across cultures and communities.  We want to provider individuals with opportunities to spread kindness in their communities.

We will be starting small with trash pick up opportunities to be kind to our planet, but want to inspire people to spread kindness in their day to day lives and recognize them for doing so!

As our mission states, we believe success is measured by the positive impact that we make in our communities and we want to encourage recognition for this!

Rewarding Acts of Kindness

We are living in a time where people do not have a lot of free time on their hands.  We want to reinforce people taking the time to do good in the world - for the world and for these individuals!  To allow people to dedicate this time without guilt, we will be recognizing and rewarding people for these acts of kindness.

Why not instantaneously reward people for making a positive impact?  Influencers are paid to "look good" and "promote products."  We want to flip that script and reward people for doing good.
